Goal #1: Emergency Fund (both human & pet) to $15,000

The stretch goal for this one will be a full $20,000.
Initial balance on January 1st = $6200.
As of September 1st, balance = $13,330.
As of November 1st, balance = $13,495.

Goal #2: Save $59,400 for Planned Spending

  1. Travel: $3000 >> Completed in April/May
  2. Income Tax: $400 >> Not Required This Year!
  3. More Home Renos: $35,000
  4. Other Travel: $5000 >> Completed in August.
  5. Other Savings: $16,000
  6. *Education Fund: $7500

Goal #3: Retirement Savings & Net Worth

Net Worth: decrease by 32%
RRSP: increase by 15%
TFSA: increase by 155% (small numbers increase in percentages quickly)
Cash: decrease by 82% (spend on renovations)
Taxable Investments: increase by 16%

Goal #4: Monthly Spending Under $8000

2015 average was $7700.
2016 average was $8400.
The goal for 2017 is to be in the middle of those two at $8000.
