For day #2 of five photos, five stories, I will continue with the animal theme…
This is Big Cat, as I refer to him on this blog… He’s been in a couple photos on this site already, but today I’m going to tell a quick story about him…
Our house backs on to a soccer field, and when the weather is nice, we are often out there watching or playing. Big Cat loves it when we are outside, and will totally follow us around. We now have to be a bit careful when he’s out on the field, especially if the grass is a bit damp…

Normally he’ll just hang around, and get some scratches and pets, but when the grass is a bit damp, he wants to find a spot to sit that doesn’t get his paws as wet, a spot where the grass isn’t as long, or is pressed down a bit… and on a soccer field, that tends to be the lines…
On more than one occasion now, we’ve been out watching soccer, and Big Cat has wandered over to the sidelines to sit on the lines. This would be fine if he moved when the players come near, but he doesn’t… He is extremely friendly, and since he is very familiar with soccer, he assumes that it’s just like when we are playing, and he won’t get hit, and that the players will want to pet him…
The worst (or best, depending on how you look at it) time was when he actually started following the half line in to the middle of the field… I eventually had to run out and pick him up before the play came towards him. Oh silly boy!
What is the craziest or silliest thing that your pet has ever done?
So, there you have it, day #2 of my five photos, five stories challenge. If you missed my post yesterday, Jillian from How To Be Myself nominated me for the five photos, five stories challenge where I am to post a different photo with a story for five consecutive days, and nominate another blogger to do the challenge each day. Today I will nominate Downstairs and in Debt. And don’t worry, participation is totally optional, so no worries if you don’t want to. Let’s see what I can find for tomorrow…
Oh my gosh, what a handsome fella. And silly! Cats are ridiculous aren’t they?

Well, I’m a little biased, but I think he’s handsome. 🙂
Oh man, the funny stories that I can tell about Big Cat and his quirks… I could probably dedicate a whole blog to him and his antics.

That’s why I started my instagram account… only cat pictures – no humans in sight 🙂 I’ve got to remember to keep posting pictures though. If you ever need to talk cats, I’m there 😛

I will have to check out your instagram! Kitty pictures and videos are the best part of the internet! I’ll just continue to include my kitties in as many of my posts as I can. 🙂
